ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 40W Bi-Color Portable LED Light Panel
Our Verdict
In my recent sessions, the ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 proved to be a surprising addition to my gear bag. This 40W LED light panel manages to pack an impressive amount of intensity into a frame that fits right in your pocket, making it a go-to for run-and-gun shoots.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality feels remarkably robust for a device weighing only 320g, featuring a clever cooling system that keeps the unit stable during extended use. The inclusion of FOC fans and a gyroscope-modeled heat sink ensures that performance doesn't throttle, even when you are pushing the light to its full 40W potential.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using the M40 is incredibly intuitive thanks to the dual-wheel interface that makes adjusting brightness and color temperature feel tactile and precise. The PD fast charging is a massive highlight, effectively eliminating downtime between setups by getting me back to full power quickly.
This light is perfect for vloggers, mobile photographers, and travel filmmakers who need a powerful, reliable, and portable lighting solution.
Final Thoughts
The FIVERAY M40 earns its 4.91/5 rating by successfully balancing raw power, portability, and user-friendly features. While it is priced at $199.00, the combination of PD fast charging and advanced thermal management makes it a smart investment for any serious creator.
